Norwood - Northern Ireland Photographer of the Year 2010
Glenn Norwood has recently been awarded the prestigious title of Northern Ireland Photographer of the Year 2010
It was a great honour to be named BIPP Northern Ireland Photographer of the Year 2010. It really came as quite a surprise to me as I have not entered any form of competition for nearly ten years. As well as receiving this fantastic title I was also privileged to be awarded BIPP Northern Ireland Portrait Photographer of the Year, BIPP Northern Ireland Commercial Photographer of the Year and Digital CGI Photographer of the Year. To complete the evening I also won five of the categories entered. This included Illustrative Photography, Studio Portrait Photography, Commercial Photography, Digital CGI Photography and Fashion Photography.
I feel so proud to be presented such accolades from my peers and I have many people to thank [I don't want to go all Gwyneth Paltrow here..!] so you know who you are! Special praise must go to my long suffering wife & Partner, Trazanne, who has had to put up with me working way to many long hours perfecting images when I should be spending time with her. I'll make it up someday I promise!!
